I woke up at four in the morning. I'd been packing since yesterday, so I wouldn't have to do it when I woke up. I got out of bed, brushed my teeth, changed, and grabbed my bags before heading downstairs. I had three rooms reserved at the hotel in Rome where I was staying with Alliana: one for me, one for Gio, and one for Giana. Thankfully, we had all bought our tickets at the same time. I grabbed my wallet and purse and left the house.
I called a taxi to the airport after Gio and Giana texted me to let me know they had arrived. The taxi came quickly. I loaded my luggage into the trunk, climbed into the back seat, and soon enough, I was on my way to the airport. Once there, I took my luggage from the trunk, paid the driver, and headed inside to check in. I spotted Gio and Giana having breakfast at the cafe. "Hey, guys," I said as I walked over.
