I stepped aside, granting Souline passage into the room, her trembling evident even from a distance. "AJ! Get a warm towel!" I called out, knowing she needed comfort. The sound of hurried footsteps echoed as AJ, Denzel, and Vex rushed downstairs to see what was happening. AJ quickly passed me the towel, his expression reflecting concern.
Handing the towel to Souline, I watched as she started to dry herself off, her hands shaking uncontrollably. Every movement seemed to require effort; her body was tense with a mixture of cold and distress. Despite the chaos, I couldn't help but feel a pang of guilt. "Do you need some water?" Denzel asked through the tension. Souline shook her head weakly, but I insisted, sending Denzel to fetch her a glass. As he hurried off, I guided Souline to a nearby seat, silently urging her to relax.
