Anna moved as if to go away. She was so sick and tired of seeing this man that her mother had somehow brainwashed into working for her!
Lu was a good friend. He was the person who saved Anna back then yet he turned into a snake at the worst possible times. Her mother was forcing her to divorce Mo Xing just so she could marry Lu and this was not sitting very well with Anna!
She stared angrily at him, "I am not in the mood to speak to you. Between you and I, there is nothing more to talk about!"
Lu's gaze changed. He looked at Anna as if he was pleading with her, "You should please reconsider. The wedding is tomorrow. Once we get married we can leave the country. We can take the kids too, I don't mind that they are not mine. You can consider this a repayment of me saving you back then!"
Anna froze. She stared at Lu as if he was making a big joke but Lu was not. He was deathly serious.
