Lin Ye and Chen Xi followed the sound, it was coming down the hallway.
From where they were, they could hear whispers as if several people were speaking but it seemed as if the talk was more of an argument because the voices were raised once in a while.
One door was slightly ajar. Lin Ye remembered that this was Lin Mufan's study.
Lin Ye's heart lurched, something had to be going on!
Lin Ye listened to the voices from where she was. There were two men and a woman.
The two men were none other than Lin Mufan and Lin Qian while the woman was Ji Lingyu.
Lin Qian spoke in a heated tone, "Dad, we already talked about this and you had already agreed, why are you changing your mind all of a sudden?"
Lin Ye became confused. What was Lin Qian talking about?
She listened some more. Lin Mufan did not speak but Ji Lingyu did.
