"Aaaaaaaaah!" Lin Ye screamed!
That voice was one that she knew, it was Chen Xi! But where did he get her number from?
Chen Xi pushed away the phone from his ears so as to avoid the damage her scream would do.
Lin Ye suddenly felt as if a ghost was lurking behind her or what would you call this?
Chen Xi would be discharged in a few days which meant that his condition was slightly better than before.
Regarding his hemophilia, Lin Ye had administered some clotting factors to help his blood clot properly.
He was fine so why would he call her at such a time?
Chen Xi's voice sounded once again, "Is it good to leave your husband all alone in the hospital like this?"
Lin Ye's heartbeat was accelerating due to anger, "Husband? Whose husband, are you?"
She had been bashed by Cheng Yu in the morning for simply asking his name so she did not feel like hearing or seeing him so much but right now he was calling her, Lin Ye's anger bubbled up like boiling water.
Chen Xi chuckled, "Yours of course"
She was different from before. Back then she had been bubbly and completely free in front of him, there was nothing she could hide from him but the her right now was guarded and cautious around him and most importantly, she had even changed her name.
He did not know what had happened to her but she had been gone for five years already.
Back then an accident had happened and when he woke up from his six-month slumber, she was already gone from his side.
He had missed her so much all these years.
Lin Ye shifted uncomfortably on her bed. Her mood had changed drastically. Ginger moved closer to her and did not run away when she realized that her mother was not in her highest spirits.
"Sir, please be mindful of others, I am not your wife. It is truly wrong to confuse other people..."
If Lin Ye was the wife then she would have felt bad when her husband was calling other random people his wife then she would b pretty mad.
"…sir, if your real wife heard you calling me that way then she would be truly mad and I would not want to face that wrath."
Chen Xi was stunned but he still insisted, "You are my wife Lin Ye, there has and can never be another one besides you…"
Back then she had abducted and left him unfed for two whole days. The only way that she could release him was if he married her.
Chen Xi thought back to those moments and smiled then he said almost to himself but Lin Ye still heard him, "These past years, what happened to you?"
Lin Ye did not speak. Her hear was still hammering against her chest and for just a brief second she seemed to hear a male voice floating inside her head. That voice was similar eerily similar to Chen Xi's.
The voice seemed to say, "I have been looking for you for a long time Hua, where the hell have you been?"
Lin Ye was dumbfounded. She was not 'Hua' so the thought was as meaningless as Chen Xi's claim to be her husband, it was totally impossible.
Lin Ye hung up the phone quickly and lay in her bed with her back.
She realized that Chen Xi's insistence my not just be simple speculations, he did not look like someone who had lost his memory. Every time he talked to her, she could feel the depth of his word. There was no way that could be faked.
If what he was saying was true then why would she not remember it? He was making it look like she had two different lives but she could not remember the other one.
If she needed answers, she had to speak to someone about it. She had to know what was going on.
She quickly put on sweatpants and joggers and left the house.
She scratched ginger's head first,
