Lin Ye turned around to see a furious Cheng Yu.
The reason why Cheng Yu spoke to her like this was because she felt that Lin Ye had stollen the director's position from her.
Back then she was so sure that she would be the one to head cardiothoracic surgery but public opinion proved different.
To make matters even more interesting, she was Zheng Ding's niece.
As the director of the hospital, Zheng Ding had promised his niece that he would be the one to take the position but at last the shareholders refused and appointed Lin Ye.
Cheng Yu had been holding a grudge ever since.
"Climbing your way up through unwanted means is all you know, Lin Ye why are you so shameless?" Cheng Yu's mouth was hot as always.
Lin Ye regarded her coldly, "Cheng Yu, what is it that you want from me?"
Cheng Yu scoffed, "Lin Ye, it was through looking at the ceiling that you became the director of our department and now you are openly seducing a patient, we cannot let this slide anymore!"
Lin Ye was speechless, "We? Who is we?"
She did not believe that simply asking for a patients name would lead to this.
Cheng Yu became angrier with Lin Ye's nonchalant attitude, "Lin Ye, I want you to leave this hospital right this instant!"
Cheng Yu always felt that the hospital belonged to her because her uncle had some authority.
A crowd was forming next to them. Wen Shao Feng, who was currently looking for Lin Ye arrived just in time to hear Cheng Yu proclaim such nonsense.
She said loudly, "Leave and go where? Between her and you, don't you know who should leave and who should stay?"
Cheng Yu sneered, "It is great that you are here Wen Shao Feng, why don't you help Lin Ye pack her bags and leave this instant…"
Wen Shao Feng sneered, "If she leaves, the patients who will be treated by you will die one by one! It is okay that you don't know how to diagnose a disease, your surgical skills are also quite lacking, Cheng Yu, other than the director being your uncle, is there anything else that you know?"
"You!" Cheng Yu shouted, seething.
Cheng Yu's surgical skills were her Achilles heel. She never let off anyone who spoke badly about it.
She had a patient almost die because she did not know where the aorta and Vena cava were positioned in the heart and once a patient almost sued the hospital for a misdiagnosis.
Lin Ye pushed Wen Shao Feng behind her and looked at Cheng Yu and then enunciated each word clearly, "Cheng Yu, let it be the last time you stop me for such nonsense. The next time, I will not be so calm."
Her voice was cold yet it held daggers.
Wen Shao Feng felt cold while Cheng Yu felt fear creeping inside of her. She did not know why but the Lin Ye standing before her seemed to be different from before.
She had not wanted to confront her but when she saw that Chen Xi had personally picked Lin Ye and no other to treat him, jealousy crept inside of her like fire.
To add on top of the open wounds she had (not getting the director's position) she could not keep still anymore.
After saying that, Lin Ye left with Wen Shao Feng trailing behind her. The two left behind a fuming Cheng Yu.
We Shao Feng could not hide her dislike, "Beauty, why didn't you let me teach her a lesson, she is becoming too much!"
Lin Ye laughed and pushed her forehead with her index finger, "Don't mind her, she will have her day soon…"
Wen Shao Feng still felt dissatisfied, "But still…"
Lin Ye laughed, "Hush now… let us go and eat…"
Wen Shao Feng heard about food and forgot everything ese immediately, "Is beauty buying lunch today?"
Wen Shao Feng always referred to Lin Ye as beauty. Lin Ye was already tired of correcting her so she let her be.
"Why would I buy?" Lin Ye unlinked their hands.
Wen Shao Feng laughed, "Because you are pretty?"
Lin Ye pushed her away, "Go away!"
Wen Shao Feng laughed heartily all the way to the cafeteria.
