Everybody was chatting, laughing, drinking and so on.
The music was played and everyone's attention was now shifted at the center of the hall.
female dancers were in their positions.one dancer came forth "may you all please enjoy this performance".the lady raised her head from bowing.suzhen -- the female leader.
everybody's attention was on Suzhen whose hanfu was now in blue and purple hue.
as the music started,they started dancing.
The music was slow at first but then was smoothing and beautiful to listen.

suzhen's voice was mesmerizing.listening to it her sing was like listening to the birds in an early morning.
the ending performance was when suzhen flew and started swirling releasing glitters as butterflies flew with her.
Everyone was in awestruck.they never expected suzhen would be a great dancer, singer and composer.
suzhen practiced a week before the day of the birthday ceremony.she never really paid attention on singing and dancing.all she did was spending most of her time practicing Martial arts, archery and so on.
"your majesties,hope you've enjoyed my performance" suzhen stepped forward and curtsied.
"very impressive, suzhen" the empress never thought that suzhen would have a heavenly voice."I've rarely heard people sing with such harmony, bravo"
suzhen felt flattered, people rarely complimented her, except for her family.

suzhen sat on a chair -- hearing people's chattering.
"lady suzhen" a voice called out for her.
suzhen turned her head and she saw prince Haoran approaching.
suzhen stood up and curtsied "my prince" she addressed.
prince Haoran carefully looked at suzhen ,she had grey eyes,fair skin, heart shaped lips and perfectly angled nose.she was beautiful.."you may rise" he smiled at her with adoration.
he kept on staring at her.such beauty endearing.
suzhen felt a little akward.until he stretched his hands towards her and leaned closer.
suzhen's heart was racing faster than lightning.'what is he doing?' she thought.
she then realized that he was touching her hairpin.
"what a pretty hairpin" he commented.he touched the hairpin and contemplated it carefully.
"it looks familiar.... where did you get it?" he asked curiously.
suzhen didn't see that coming, "it belongs to somebody else"
"who's the owner?" he asked.
"one day as I was at the capital,I saw somebody accidentally dropped this hairpin.when I picked it up to return,I didn't see the person.oh,and yes..." she trailed off.suzhen took the hairpin off then showed it to the prince.
"it has name written on it" she gave him the hairpin and he took it without hesitation.
The name written on it was shocking.it said 'Ran-ge'. it was similar to his lost one .
"have you found the owner of this hairpin?"
"no I haven't.i don't know if it was a man or woman but judging by the clothing,I think that person was male aristocrat"
"is that so" he said thoughtfully.this is definitely his hairpin.should he get it back or leave it with her.she looks pretty with it.
"it looks pretty on you though" he placed the hairpin back on her hair -- smooth and as dark as the night sky.
Suzhen blushed so hard that she hoped he didn't notice.he smiled at her and she smiled back.

after chatting for a while suzhen noticed that the most of the guests have already gone.she turned to prince Haoran and said " my prince I think it is time to go home now"
"mm" was a reply he managed to say.
they both got up from their seats and when they turned around and saw a young maiden approaching them.
she wore a purple hanfu,she wore expensive jewelry as if showing off her families wealth."greetings prince Haoran, happy birthday young Miss suzhen" the maiden gave gave out a small curtsey.
"lady Xin Yan. how are you feeling now?" prince Haoran asked.
Lady Xin Yan answered "no need to worry about me,my prince, I'm doing just fine, thank you" she moved few strands of her hair at the back of her ears and started acting all shy.
"that's good to hear" he said with a faint smile.
suzhen looked at Xin Yan with great discust.how great Xin Yan is acting all shy or maybe.....she likes the prince.a perfect time to embarrass Xin Yan by making her jealous but how.
suzhen smiled inwardly with satisfaction.
