After dropping Ember off, Das drove the sports car directly to the palace in the Old City. The outer area of the palace is still brightly lit as the night guards take on their role of surveillance. After seeing Das inside the car, the security guard opened the path to the palace's main gate.
Faruk is observing Das from the top of the building, which is the second layer of defence for the palace.
Faruk is still working to formulate a new business model, as he received supporting calls from the chief of police security, and several new areas came under the black market as Das dealt with the local thug's problem.
