Chapter 27 - The Mystic Healers Organization

While everyone remained silent, my mind raced, recalling everything I knew about The Mystic Healers Organization.

From an outside perspective, the Mystic Healers Circle is widely regarded as a prestigious and revered organization dedicated to the art of healing. They are also known for their exceptional skills and expertise in the field of medicine and restoration.

Operating as a highly organized and dedicated group, the Mystic Healers Circle was committed to the noble cause of healing and restoration. Their main headquarters, known as the Sanctum of Serenity, is located in a secluded and serene location, often nestled within a lush natural environment.

Access to this sacred place was a privilege granted only to a select few, making it quite difficult to attain. However, there was one exception – 'her'.

The organization holds a special place in the hearts of common folk and those with pure hearts. They are seen as a beacon of hope and a symbol of compassion, providing their services to all in need, regardless of social status or background. The Circle's commitment to offering free healing services to the poor and commoners had earned them immense respect and admiration from the general public.

And that's precisely why I, too, hold this organization in high regard!

The Mystic Healers Circle is known to have branches in every kingdom, ensuring that their healing services are accessible to people across the world. Each branch operates under the guidance and supervision of the Grand Elders, who ensure that the Circle's principles and standards are upheld. The headquarters of the organization is typically located in a central and easily accessible location, serving as a hub for administrative tasks, research, and coordination among the different branches.

Overall, the outside view of the Mystic Healers Circle is one of admiration and trust. They are seen as a reliable and esteemed organization that brings healing and restoration to those in need, embodying the values of compassion, expertise, and selflessness.

And from my point of view, they are one of the three most important organizations in the world.

Within the organization, there is a hierarchical structure that ensures effective management and guidance. The Divine Mystic Healer holds the highest authority and serves as the spiritual and strategic leader of the Circle.

Underneath the Divine Mystic Healer, there are the Mystic Healers, also known as the Four Legendary Healers. They are responsible for a whole continent.

Under them, there are the Grand Elders, who are responsible for overseeing the different branches and ensuring adherence to the Circle's principles and standards.

And one more thing, Lady Vera standing opposite of me is one of the Mystic Healers, The fourth Legendary Healer. She goes by the title 'Nature's Seraph'.

Well, the reason I remembered all of this is to point out how much of a big responsibility will Grandma have to shoulder if she accepts it.

Even If she accepts it, the other three Mystic Healers should agree to it.

And I highly doubt that. Why would they give such a high position to someone who isn't even their member?

Ok.

Let's say they agreed and imagine even if she becomes the leader.

It won't be easy for her to rule the organization.

Because it is hard to win the people's trust. Even more so the high-ranking members of the organization.

Besides, she will be under a lot of pressure. After all, she will be compared to the Divine Mystic Healer non-stop.

There are other things I haven't mentioned or don't know yet.

If it were for me, I wouldn't want Grandma to become their leader.

I know how much she is exhausted from ruling her kingdom by now. It has been just 3 years since she and Grandpa gave the throne to her uncle anyway. Even then she is continuously attending the war.

But the real reason why I don't want it is because of the potential danger.

Fatal Danger!

Look what happened to the Divine Mystic Healer. She even had another Monarch protecting her.

Even though it might sound selfish of me, that's a big no. I don't want her to get hurt or be cursed! Not a chance!

Sorry, Grandma...

As such, I looked at Grandma. Then I concentrated all of my mental power.

[Mind Scan]

Hmm...

{She is feeling... conflicted... and uncertain...}

Whoosh!

Then I canceled my ability. It took only a second for me to barely read her emotions. Yet I lost nearly half of my mental power...

'Is she gonna say yes?'

Maybe they sensed something, everyone started to move their heads.

As I knew what was about to happen next, I spoke. "No."

"Huh?"

All the eyes fell on me.

"Grandma!" | "Safe!" | "Family!"

I spoke three words one after another.

Then I looked attentively at Grandma.

Finally, her expression changed as she smiled at me.

Did I do it?

Then she looked at Lady Vera and spoke.

"I-"

"Wait!"

Huh? Why are you chiming in, Grandma Vera? Your timing is the worst!

"I know what are you thinking. The other three also agreed to it." Lady Vera continued.

Wait?!

They did?

Those Mystic Healers?

I guess I underestimated my Grandma too much.

"Besides, it was the Lady who wanted it to be you as well," Lady Vera added. "She said you are the most suitable person to replace her."

Grandma Vera, stop with the bombshells!

But if the Divine Mystic Healer herself had expressed such sentiments, it was understandable. After all...

"M-master did?" Grandma muttered, her eyes widening.

"Yes," Lady Vera nodded, her smile genuine and sweet.

As Grandma had mentioned, she was, or rather, had been the Divine Mystic Healer's disciple.

In the past...

Not now...

But I don't know the full details as Grandma never talked about it.

There must be a big story behind this.

"Since you're feeling hesitant, I have good news for you," Lady Vera announced, capturing everyone's attention.

"You can take your time to think it through. And when you've made your decision, you can connect with me at any time, or I will reach out to you after a month. How does that sound?"

With these words, Lady Vera concluded, leaving Grandma with the opportunity to carefully consider her options.
