The serenity of Mia's dreams was abruptly shattered by a gentle but persistent push. Her eyes fluttered open to find her maid, Seraphina, standing beside her bed, anxiety etched across her face.
"Princess Mia, we must go," Seraphina whispered urgently, her voice trembling.
Confused and still groggy from sleep, Mia sat up. "Seraphina, what's happening? Why are you waking me up like this?"
"Shh, Princess, please, no questions for now," Seraphina implored, glancing nervously toward the moonlit window. "We must leave immediately. Follow me, and be silent."
