I woke up early but didn't make a move to go to class; that's because today is the weekend, and there are no classes.
Ten minutes have already passed since the bell rang, but I continue lying on my bed as if I heard nothing.
These past few days have been tiring. Since I am taking both swordsmanship and magic classes, it's no wonder my body needs rest since I'm not accustomed to it yet.
Alad still hasn't made a move, so I'm wondering what he's really thinking. That also adds to my burden because I can't let my guard down even for a moment.
While my thoughts are circling around my head, they were disrupted by a loud voice coming from my one and only noisy roommate, Tyiyn.
"WAKE UP EVERYONE!!" He shouted so loudly that the three of us still laying on our beds said the same thing.
"SHUT UP YOU'RE SO LOUD!" Tork, Raiden, and I said in unison.
"So you're already awake, let's go to the cafeteria; I'm hungry," Tyiyn said.
"Sigh, Why do you have so much energy early in the morning?" I asked before standing up from my bed.
After that, the four of us washed our faces and changed clothes, then we headed to the cafeteria.
Because we're late, all the tables are already taken. Luckily, I found Chris's group who had just finished eating and was about to leave.
I reached out to them while Tork and the others placed their orders.
"Good morning, everyone," I greeted them as they were about to leave their table.
"Good morning, Will!" Chris greeted me with a smile.
"Good morning too, Will," both Lucia and Lana said at the same time.
"Good morning," Crestia said in a low voice, but we still heard it.
All four of us smiled at her, and then she made an upset face.
"What's your problem?" she said while starting to redden.
"Are you free later, Will? I want to show you my new spell!" Chris said with excitement.
I was about to agree when I suddenly saw Crestia's face, and she's making a face that says she has something to say to me.
"I'm sorry, Chris, but I'm a little busy today; can we do it tomorrow?" I asked her.
"Is that so? Okay! I can't wait to show you my new spell," she said.
I felt bad for declining Chris, but Crestia takes priority right now because, based on her expression, what she wants to tell me is something important.
"Then we'll take our leave; see you, Will!" Chris said then started to leave.
"See you, Will."
"See you, Will," both Lana and Lucia said.
After that, Crestia also started to leave but stopped for a moment to tell me something.
"Behind the fourth-year dorms, after lunch," she whispered to me before finally leaving.
After that, my friends finished ordering, so we started eating. While eating, I kept thinking about what Crestia might want to talk about later.
I couldn't focus on the conversation they were having, and they noticed it.
"Will, is something wrong?" Raiden asked.
"Huh? No, it's nothing," I answered.
"You've been out of it since talking to Chris and the others; did something happen? Did you get into a fight?" Tork said.
"Hey, you're overreacting again," Tyiyn said, laughing after that.
"No, it's really nothing serious. I'm just thinking about how I can learn magic more easily because I'm having a hard time with it," I said, lying about the real reason.
Well, I can't just tell them about mine and Crestia's situation right now.
"Well, if you say so, but tell us if you need our help. We're not much of a help, but we'll appreciate it if you depend on us," Raiden said, accepting my lie.
He noticed that I was lying but went along with it. He's really perceptive.
"Yeah, that's right; if you need our help, just tell us, and we'll do everything we can to help you," Tork said.
"That's right!" Tyiyn added.
"Thank you, guys, but it's really nothing. I'll keep it in my mind, though, that if I ever need help, I can ask the three of you," I said.
"Yeah, keep it in mind," Raiden said, then smiled.
After that, we continued our breakfast, talking about trivial things.
****
I had an early lunch since I needed to go to the back of the fourth-year dorms.
I got there at the same time the bell rang. I'll wait here while hiding; I've got the feeling that Crestia isn't the only one who will come here.
After 20 minutes, someone finally arrived, and it was Crestia. It looks like she's waiting for me.
I'll show myself after 5 minutes just to make sure.
After five minutes, I was about to show myself when I heard a familiar voice.
"Thank you for coming, Crestia," said by a familiar voice.
I immediately looked at where it was coming from, and I saw a familiar boy, someone I ran along with during the 50 laps.
"Yeah, but it's not only me here. I also called someone I trust just to be safe, Cirris," Crestia said, creating a distance between them.
It looks like it was time to show myself.
"I'm sorry I hid here; I'm surprised to see you here, Cirris," I said while showing myself and going to the side of Crestia.
"Will? Why are you here?" He asked, surprised.
"I called him here because I trust him. Don't worry; he won't tell anyone whatever you told him, right Will?" Crestia asked.
"Of course. But first, can I get a little explanation on what's the relationship between you two?" I asked.
"Of course, can I tell him?" Crestia asked Cirris.
"Yeah, go ahead," he said.
"Then, both Cirris and I came from the same village; you can tell what's going on now, right?" She said.
That's right. Just by that I can already tell what's going on. If Cirris came from the village where Crestia was raised, that means he also knows Alad, which means he's also getting bullied by him.
"Yeah, I can already tell what your relationship is. But why did you bring Crestia here?" I asked Cirris.
"Because I am now stronger; I can now beat Alad. That's what I thought, but the moment I saw him again, I can't do anything but be his plaything again," he explained.
"I heard that Crestia's also here, so I immediately called out to her the moment I heard it, hoping that I could get even one ally," he added.
"So you want to make Crestia your ally?" I asked.
"Yes, and maybe we can form a plan to beat Alad," He answered.
"Later he was summoning me because I haven't paid what I owe to him yet. I felt scared; that's why I want to have someone to protect me too. I heard that Alad can't lay a hand on Crestia because someone is protecting her, so that someone is you, Will? Are you that strong that even Alad cannot lay a hand on you?" He said.
It doesn't look like he's lying, maybe we can trust him, so we can have ourselves another ally.
"You said earlier that Alad is summoning you, right?" I asked.
"Yes, what about it?" He asked.
"Maybe we can catch him off guard. I've got a plan to stop Alad; do you want to take part in it?" I asked him.
"Of course, I'll do anything just so that bastard would get what he deserves," he said with passion on his face.
"I keep thinking about this for a while; if he won't come, then we'll be the ones who will come to him, and thanks to you, my plan is now perfect," I said.
"Will?" Crestia asked with a worried face.
"Don't worry, Crestia; this plan is bound to succeed because I've got all the players I needed," I said with a smirk on my face.
"Now let me tell you the plan," I said, then I told them about my plan.
