Strange, the people before the man did not look nor seem like normal people.
But seeing them granted him new memories of what he himself hadn't experienced.
"....Code, and two assailants. Who's memories are these?" He was confused, but stoicism struck him like a bat.
"You've been sleep for too long, Raigo. It's time to get to work." Code said.
"I don't know what's going on, but I should play the role they expect me to. For some reason, I think asking too many questions may prove to be a danger to myself." Raigo thought to himself.
"Where's Master Jigen?" Raigo looked around, observing his surroundings.
"Woah!" Daemon hopped off of Code.
"He is no longer with us."
"Master Jigen is dead?" For a second, he contemplated on what how he should act. But there was no need. Everything came naturally.
"Code...." Risen from within his body, a surge of bloodlust unbeknownst to Code arose. He was shaken.
"What...when did he get this strong?" Code trembled at his presence.
"You trynna make me laugh? 'Cause that ain't funny."
"He isn't joking. Otsutsuki Isshiki is dead."
"Yeah, that hokage dude killed 'em. Ain't That right code?" Daemon said this from on top of Raigo's shoulders.
Raigo paid no mind to the child.
"Yes, Isshiki died fighting the current Hokage."
"The hokage, huh?" His bloodlust dissipated. "He died how a warrior should die. There's no reason for me to get riled up over that." He slipped his hands into his baggy pockets.
"But I guess you want to avenge your sacred diety." He stepped up to Code.
"EIDA!! THIS A GOOD SEAT!" Daemon said from atop Mt. Raigo.
"It seems like Daemon has taken a liking to you, Raigo." Eida said.
"Yeah? I'll let the pipsqueak stay here for a second."
"Pipsqueak?! Ya, lucky you're a good seat, or I'd have thrashed you already."
"Yeah, whatever."
"Raigo, I believe you died after receiving Jigen's blessing. And you were ordered to be disposed of. But here you are, healthier than you were before."
"You askin how I'm still alive? I got lucky, I guess."
Code's curiosity piqued him. "Luck, huh?" Could it be luck that he also survived Jigen's ritual?
He looked down at Eida. They locked eyes for a second before he walked pass the both of them. "I need some fresh air."
The group stepped over the many bodies Daemon laid in his wake. Leaving the facility through a claw of Code's.
__________
Ever since Eida locked eyes with Raigo, she's been staring at him.
Raigo was stuck in thought as they traveled.
"Ever since I left that damn pod, I keep seeing these lights everywhere. Its annoying." Raigo had pondered.
"Hey Raigo!" His voice elevated.
"What you want?"
"Ya a good fighter, right?"
"Huh? You sizin me up, kid?"
"Answer the question, wouldja!?"
"I need a chance to process everything, but this keeps talking." Raigo was slightly getting frustrated at Daemon using him as a ride.
"WHY? You wanna fight me?" Daemon hopped off Raigo, landing right in front of him.
"WHY wouldn't I!"
"Daemon, stop picking fights with Raigo."
Looking directly at Daemon, he saw the lights in different patterns inside Daemon's body compared to the scattered lights in the air. it gave birth to a series of words Raigo could comprehend.
"She always stops my fun." was what came from Daemon.
Raigo stays quiet about it.
"I'D FIGHT YA BUT BIG SIS SAID NO SO I CAN'T!"
"Why's this kid so cocky and loud." Daemon wasn't a likable child to him.
The group got to the bar, Daemon was on Code's back when he saw Bug sneaking off. Before Code and Bug could react, he vanished. Over Bug's head came Daemon. He crashed and landed onto Bug. Daemon bopped Bug in the nose with his forehead, causing it to bleed.
"WHERE YA TRYIN TO SNEAK OFF TO, BUG?!" He announced. " THAT'S COLD!! WE HAVENT SEEN EACH OTHER IN SO LONG!"
Raigo watched while pouring himself some wine.
"Dammit, This is why I hate this kid!!" Bug flinched as Daemon yelled and attempted to guard his face for any other attacks.
"I don't blame him." He tips his drinks to his lips as the claws appear on Daemon's and Code's body. While recollecting on the possibilities on what this might be, he came up with a sensible conclusion.
"This has no traits of an actual dream, I've received memories I've never witnessed or experienced before, and I am living inside a body that should have been dead. The only logical conclusion would be...me being transported to a new universe. If that's the case, then the multiverse theory isn't a theory anymore." His existence in this new world proves that other universes exist other than his own.
"And in this universe, there are superhumans with supernatural abilities. If that's the case." A smile almost crept onto his face as he drank his wine.
"I don't have to play the nice guy anymore." Such thoughts rummage through his mind as he watched over everyone else.
As they spoke on their abilities, he found it interesting on all of their parts. it was very entertaining to listen and watch but one thing caught his attention more than the other parts of the conversation.
A tiny bolt of lightning flickered into the air and dispersed. It made a crackling sound that caught the three's attention.
"I have no part to play in this conversation, but you said somethin 'bout enchantment and sonrengon. The hell are those?"
"...Have you not felt anything toward Eida since you've seen her before?"
"Why would I? I just met her."
Code was speechless. Eida looked up at Raigo again.
"He hasn't fallen for Eida yet? How's that possible? Is there a limit to how many people it works on?"
Putting the pieces together "So you make people fall for you, huh? Sounds like a lonely ability. Hah."
"HEY! YOU MIGHT BE A GOOD SEAT BUT DONT TALK TO BIG SIS LIKE THAT?" Daemon yelled at Raigo.
Raigo didn't peel his eyes off of Eida. "If its through sight, then wouldn't have worked by now?"
Curious, he puts his cup down and approaches Eida.
As usual, her face was expressionless.
He looked at her while closer and but didn't feel anything.
"Guess it don't work on everyone. Where the toothbrushes? My teeth feel gunky!"
They watched him walk away on his toothbrush adventure.
______________
The group didn't do much after that. Eida monitored Konoha with her Senringan. Code waited patiently for some news, and Daemon went to sleep.
After brushing his teeth, Raigo was venturing around the facility. There was everything of interest here. Highly advanced technology he never would've seen in his old universe. But for some reason, he didn't find a personal interest in it.
He could perceive the currents of electricity flowing through the systems and wires in the walls, but using it didn't feel right to him.
So he continues wandering.
