Ophelia couldn't believe Nikolai. Rhaziel had already been dispatched by him to track down the culprits. He wasn't running away from his responsibilities. She was relieved, but a part of her felt bad for insulting him. She wasn't going to take them back though, he deceived her.
She, Nikolai, and Rhaziel were in the bedroom, but the men were standing by the door talking to each other as she sat on the bed, completely in disbelief.
"Magic?" Nikolai asked dully.
"Hmm." Rhaziel nodded. "Dark magic."
"Dark fairies." Nikolai smirked, crossing his arms on his chest and turning his gaze to Ophelia who widened her eyes with interest.
"Particularly, princess Esmeralda." Rhaziel informed.
