AYAN'S POV
I stared in horror and fear as Zaryn approached me. I wriggled around trying to free myself but it was useless. How was I going to get out of this? What did he plan on doing with me?
I tried to scream for help but the cloth once again muffled the screams. Then realized even if I did manage to scream who would help? I was at the Muron estate after all no one would help me.
"Ayan calm down," The General told me as he sat beside me on the bed. I tried to move away from him but struggled to make distance. He sighed. "I too, hate that we had to encounter each other again this way but you left me no choice. This was the only way left for me to set things right," he continued on.
Set things right? I thought to myself. Not this again victim blaming me as if it was my fault I didn't want to be with someone who nearly killed me.
