Chapter 85 - A Letter

LAIKA'S POV

Despite us not knowing what was going on we knew he was probably seeing the Emperor to talk about Ayan. The wives and I were beginning to think Ayan wasn't returning to the estate. She had been gone for two days and was staying at the palace.

 

It was a few days later when we were informed that Ayan had been requested to become the Prince's Governess. It was Kazir that had finally come to explain things to us (the wives) after the General had had his meeting with the Emperor. The General was sadly still refusing to see us. I was surprised I hadn't expected that at all but all the same I was happy for her.

It was early in the afternoon after lunch and I was seated in the living room of my house just thinking about everything that had happened in the last couple of days. So Ayan was going to stay at the palace from now on? I thought to myself.
