"I understand, Your Majesty," I accepted what he told me. However, I still did feel bad but I was happy that he stood up for what was right despite his friendship with the General.
We entered another section of the gardens as we continued our walk. We were quiet for a little while as we looked around the garden section. A large open area with well-kept grass, shaped dark green hedges, and benches for sitting.
"May I ask what happened afterward? W-what did the General do when I ran off" I then went on to ask realizing I didn't know what happened afterward.
"Well he made quite the scene, he demanded you to be brought back to him. It wasn't until I met with him again and reprimanded him for the disturbance he was causing that he stopped. I told him to accept what you had told him and that he had to leave. So he left"
