"Anyways," Yun Che adjusted his robes and looked towards Xisu with a smile. "You do not have to worry about their safety. As long as I'm alive, no one can do anything to them. I can assure you that."
Jasmine was his woman, his master, and the closest person to him. Even if Xisu didn't say anything, Yun Che would still protect Jasmine. Her being here alone was enough proof of that.
Xisu looked directly into Yun Che's eyes. He could feel the sincerity in them, which made him smile.
"I can rest in peace then."
"Brother, wait!" Jasmine hurriedly called him and looked at him with an emotional gaze. "If you want, we have a way to resurrect you. You can once again live—"
"Tong'er…" Xisu shook his head. "It's alright. If both of you are saved, I don't see any reason for me to be revived again."
His mother was dead, the woman he admired the most already belonged to another man, his sisters were saved; Xisu didn't see any reason to be alive again.
"But…" Jasmine looked reluctant. She was finally able to see her brother, she did not want to end it so suddenly.
"Do you want to see me suffer?"
Jasmine's lips tightened into a thin line. She clenched her fist and lowered her head, not wanting to look directly into Xisu's eyes.
It was her selfish desire to have her brother alive again. Hearing Xisu, she did not want to impose it on him.
"You have found your happiness already, and I'm sure Caizhi will too soon in the future. You already have someone that would protect me in my stead; I see no reason to be alive again. If I really became alive again, I wouldn't have any reason to live. I would be a husk of my former self."
Xisu looked at the reluctant expression of Jasmine and gently smiled before he looked toward Caizhi. She silently stood behind Jasmine, tightly clenching the hem of her skirt and biting her lower lip, trying her best to control her emotions.
"I'll leave them to you then." He looked towards Yun Che and said before his body turned transparent and vanished.
Silence covered the skies of Snow Song Realm, and no one said anything for a long time; even Ying'er was tactful enough to leave without saying anything.
As someone who lost her mother, she understood the pain that the sisters were going through. No matter how cold she was, this moment still reminded her of herself. So she silently left instead of causing any more trouble.
Yun Che looked at Jasmine and Caizhi with an awkward expression. He really didn't know how to console them. Consoling other people wasn't something in his character; he would joke around at the funeral of other people. In simple words, he was a piece of shit who found it hard to understand their feelings.
To Yun Che, death was just that, death.
He understood that one day everything will simply cease to exist; that included immortals or whatnot. In layman's terms, Yun Che accepted the existence of death and embraced it.
That didn't mean he didn't understand the pain of loss; he just didn't understand the reason to cling to the dead.
Since they are dead, they are dead. No point of reluctance would bring them back, so he found such an action itself useless.

He never considered himself a sane person, so he didn't find his thought process surprising in the least.

"Not at all." Qianye Fentian smiled. "I'm just surprised that the Southern Sea God Realm is willing to send all Hell Kings and their Crown Prince for the expedition against the Devil Yun Che."
"Brahma God Emperor must be joking." Nan Qianqiu snorted. "That devil killed my father, the Realm King of the Southern Sea God Realm. Our Southern Sea God Realm will not sit silent until that devil is delivered his punishment."
Qianye Fentian scoffed internally at Nan Qianqiu's emotional remark. He wasn't a fool and clearly understood that the reason why Southern Sea God Realm sent such a force was to make sure Qianye Fentian didn't go back on his words and fulfill the contract.
As for killing the devil? That was just a preface they used to send such a force into the Eastern Divine Region.
Which sane Royal Realm would try to antagonize a devil that killed two God Emperors and still had enough energy to spare to destroy a Royal Realm?
Even if the person he killed was the Realm King of the Southern Sea God Realm, Qianye Fentian doubted that they were stupid enough to announce a war against Yun Che unless the whole Star Realm was in danger.
There were two main reasons why Southern Sea God Realm decided to be part of his expedition; first, they were not alone. Second, they could get their hands on a Heavenly Treasure that made the Eternal Heavenly Realm a force that could stand shoulder to shoulder with the Royal Realm despite not having any inherited legacy.
With these two things in mind, it was impossible for them not to participate in this expedition.
If they were alone, they would definitely try their best to not antagonize the devil, but with the collective forces of four Royal Realms? The chances of that devil surviving were almost nil.

"If we cannot deal with that Devil together, bringing other people would be the same as throwing lives away."
Nan Qianqiu became quiet.
Indeed, if they couldn't stop the devil with the strength of three God Emperors and so many Divine Masters, then bringing other people was indeed the same as throwing lives away.
If all of their force was damaged, other star realms might take this opportunity to replace them.
