Chapter 45 - THAT WOMAN AGAIN

As the rest of AAA5 team members made haste returning to the clear place for them to head back to the mission center, Muro walked slowly, behind everyone else. He was feeling resentful against his teammates.How have they improved so greatly than me and yet we are on the same team? Even this weakling Claire claims she has reached 40 points of attributes! How?What pained him more was that rival of his, Frank, who seems to be the favorite of the girls. He was at 60! Muro couldn't stomach this, but there was nothing he could do. He didn't realize that it was by his own doing that he lagged behind the rest. His teammates had actively killed the monsters at the BlockFarm Forest while he held back his sword.Just then as he walked and spat sideways, a sight caught his attention. Muro saw a kind of a bat descending behind a tree not far from the walkway they were all using. But immediately the bat landed, on that same spot, an extremely beautiful woman emerged.A woman!Muro lost all his senses just staring at her. His eyes and mouth all unconsciously enlarged in their sizes. His heart started palpitating!If only I could…wait is she calling me, Muro widened his eyes even more and gasped. The woman was signaling for him to follow her. Muro turns and looks at the disappearing members of his team, 'Damn the team' he resolves and walks to the woman. She just stands there as Muro comes over to her. She smiles and places her right hand on his shoulders."Good boy!" she says sweetly. Muro is stupefied and opens his mouth to speak. The woman places her finger on his lips to shush him. At that very moment he loses focus, seeing blurry things then eventually passes out.He wakes up to find himself in a cave. He is lying on the woman's things. His senses come back and he springs up in alarm."What did you do? Where am I?" he asks looking around."I didn't do anything sweetie, I think my beauty shocked you till you fainted!" she said moving closer to him. He stepped back and stumbled almost falling down."Careful, don't break those eggs!" she said, "Please give them to me, they are of no use to you!"Muro looked at the eggs and back at this strange woman. He hesitates."I can't, they are for the mission," he begins explaining, "They are for our team!"At this the lady bursts out laughing."Which team? The ones who don't like a single bit about you? Those morons who have advanced further than you could ever reach! Come on!" the woman spoke so disdainfully that Muro felt all her words piercing right through his heart. He knew she was right by everything she said."Look, that boy who is younger than you has not only beaten you over the girls but in attributes too! And he will go ahead to be elected the representative leader and start commanding you around! Would you bear that?"Muro pictured the humiliation. He wouldn't allow it to happen."All that can change if you do me a very simple favor!" the woman continued."What do you want me to do?" Muro could feel his anger boiling over and wanted to do anything at that very instant to change things as they were."First I will have those eggs, then I will make you strong enough to go and kill that boy for me. Kill him and I will make you the leader you so much want to be!"Muro thought over it very fast and he could certainly feel the ecstasy of the whole thing.What do I stand to lose? Instead he pictured at the gains and saw that he would be the one reaping quite a fortune. But just before he responds an eagle suddenly flies into the cave and powerfully swoops down toward him. Muro tries to hide from this crazy predator. Before he realizes it he is in air, tightly held by the claws of the eagle. He is extremely terrified as he thinks that this huge bird wants to make a meal out of him.Then the bird makes a somersault in the air and throws him up on its back. He is now sitting as if riding the eagle. After he regains his breath he realizes the eagle was saving him. Instinctively he looks back at the cave. To his surprise he does not see any woman but a ferocious creature spitting dark green arrows towards them. Luckily the eagle is too fast for any arrows to reach them. After a few minutes Muro is delivered at the center amidst startled members of other teams and even his AAA5 team, he feels proud seeing them looking at him with open mouths although inwardly he is still shaken from the cave incident.As he walks past Frank to enter the chambers, he can't help but wonder, "Who is this frank that someone so powerful wants him dead?"Inside the dreaded chamber two, Muro was the only one left who had not been analysed. As he was about to step into the booth just like what the rest did, the hologram stopped him."That won't be necessary for you. We already know you have been in contact with unwanted foreign matter." Muro gaped at the man as he spoke with his machine voice. It was a relief the speaker was merely a hologram, he would otherwise be fidgeting.What the hell is this unwanted foreign matter?"We know you have met the agent of the dark Lord, you must know that is a very serious crime." The representative leader said."I didn't choose to meet her. I have committed no crime," Muro decided to be on the defense."That will be upon us to decide and it all depends with your cooperation with us in giving us what we want""What do you want?""Tell us everything the dark agent told you," the computer hologram spoke to him as a man with his mate. Muro thought about it and wanted to speak out.If only this could let me off their crazy interrogation, so be it. After all I don't have to tell everything."She…" he began but stopped abruptly.Muro tried to speak but found out he couldn't.The machine beeped and a three line message was displayed on the inner screen inside the control room. The same message was relayed to the hologram which ended the questioning right at that moment. But no one else could see the message, not even Muro himself. This was an ability only for representative leaders and those higher up the NURO system.-----{ALERT: Malware Forces Detected}[Subject under Control of Malware Forces][Malware Forces inhibiting Subject's system of Communication]-----That was when Muro was cleared to meet up with his team to submit their task.Later that night in his house, just as he entered, Muro was startled to see someone sitting on his couch. He was about to ask who the person was then stopped. It was the same woman he met at the caves. She was still as beautiful as he could recall. But he also remembered her attacks when he suddenly left."You!" Muro began."Shut up and listen good!" the crispy voice of the woman hit back at him.***********
