"Which side are you helping then?" Asked Bella, taking a breath when Penny smiled but it did not reach her eyes.
"Do you really think you are in love with Tyrone?' Penny tilted her head and stared at her father who was talking to his majesty at that moment.
"He is not even the god we knew once. He had changed so much that except his face, I know nothing of him." Bella gritted her teeth and held the table tightly.
"You are only trying to sway me. I thought you were friends with both of us. Why are you helping Cassandra then? Is it because she gave birth to you in this life?" The words burnt Bella as she felt betrayed again and again.
"Cassandra did not matter much to me. But yes, I have felt she is a warm and innocent woman. Not as greedy and opportunities as you described her all your lifetimes." Penny looked back at Bella and covered her hands with hers.
She slowly opened her fingers one by one to make sure that Bella did not hurt herself.
