Cassey paused. She did not notice the bag in his hands before but now that she looked at it. It was the same bag she had last night.
She had left it in the carriage when she was dragged out.

I found the bag there and knew it belonged to you so I bought it for you." he smiled at her as if she should be thankful to him.
