Cassey pressed her lips into a thin line. The girl was still young but she had no words to refute Maya.
Ana was her granddaughter and she had every right to choose things for the child. Cassey was only worried that the child had too much on her plate.
But she had never thought that a sweet child like Ana would leave the house.
"I will go and bring her back.'' At last, she took a deep breath and bowed her head. ``It was never my intention to force the girl to love her own house or hurt her sentiments. I only want her to play a little and behave like kids of her age."
"You are just seeing your child in her." Maya scoffed as she walked closer, "you are guilty because you have abandoned your daughter but interfering in my granddaughter's life will not change the fact that your daughter is alone."
Ana closed her eyes and bit her lips. The sting was so strong that all the muscles in her body hurt.
