"You are not my husband and daughter. This is a mirage." Cassey spat out those words on the faces of the maids and Tyrone who had surrounded her.
"I will find a way to break the spell." She ran out of the room but her hands were held and the door was locked.
"Cassey! Are you feeling sick? I do not understand what nonsense you are spouting. But I can not let you go out." The man held her by her waist and pulled her back into the room. "If you do not like anything, we can talk about it. But do not leave us, Cassey. What will happen to our child?"
"She is not my child." Cassey glared back at the young girl who was spitting images of Penny. But she did not feel any affection or warmth when the child hugged her.
