Tyrone gulped. He could see the storm bubbling in her eyes. She was not a human. And if it was not her second life, then she still held all her powers while he had taken birth as a human in this life.
He remembered how she used to treat his wounds. He was on his deathbed when he was brought back from the war. He knew that he could not even breathe properly but she had treated him.
And now there was not even a deep scar left except a few marks on his back.
"That was wrong too. I should not have made false promises from the start." he nodded, regretting that he did not explain her properly but his words only rubbed salt on her wounds.
She held his hair and pulled them with force, making him stare deep into her red eyes.
"You mean, no matter what you would have only chosen Cassey over me?" anger from betrayal and hatred danced in her cold eyes.
