"Do love need a reason? Why do you love this face then?" she asked back, her eyes looking hollow and pained that he gulped.
"You have no choice. So stop devising plans in your mind. I gave you a chance to love me willingly but you did not take it. Now you have to love me on my terms." She rolled her eyes and held his hair.
She pulled them with force until he raised his head and looked into her eyes.
"As long as you love me, your every wish will be fulfilled. You will live a better life, you will gain respect. I will make sure you have it all." All he wanted was to get rid of her. But he gulped those words with his saliva and nodded.
For now, he had to follow her commands for the safety of his wife and daughter.
