"Cassey, I have brought the flowers you always wanted." Cassey stared at the bunch of daffodils in her hands but her face was filled with regret.
She stared at the man sitting in front of her and waiting for her praise with uneasiness.
"Tyrone, when was the last time you went to work?" the man blinked at the strange questions.
But he did not lose the smile off his face.
"Why do I need to work cassey? I am rich enough. We can live in this townhouse for all our lives." he grinned and bent to hug her but she moved away.
Her eyes were staring at him with a lot of emotions.
"You mean you are leaving your position of a duke for me?" a tinge of anger, frustration and pain could be felt that looked so melancholic but the man noticed nothing.
He nodded with a grin on his face as if a child waiting for praise from his mother.
