When Tyrone returned home, Cassey was sitting with Penny on the balcony. Cassey was reading a book and asking Penny to recognize the letters she had learned earlier.
A smile crept up to his lips. The scene was enough to calm his wary heart.
"Did something happen when I was not here?" It was a usual question, Tyrone asks every time he returns to the manor.
Most of the time the reply was negative or some letters were forwarded to him. But this time, the butler paused and looked at Tyrone with hesitating eyes.
"What is it?' Sensing the odd reaction, Tyrone stopped and stared at the butler with demanding eyes.
"Your highness, there is a rumor prevailing in the castle that you will spend nights with the lady again." Butler bowed his head to avoid eye contact. "I am afraid many are against it.
They did not like the lady. If it continued, a few of them would leave their jobs." Tyrone's face hardened.
