Cassey cooped up in the library again. She had thought of reading more about that demon general, hoping she could be prepared till she found a chance to meet him.
But when she searched, half of the library was filled with books about demons. Now she did not know how to start.
She had picked some books that seemed easier to read.
It was about the type of demons and their strength and weakness.
The other book is about the wars between humans and demons.
The last one is a mythological one. She started with this one.
"Ah! You are reading more abou your kins." The head maid mocked her as she noticed the books on the table.
"Why don't you go live with them? After all, you are more loyal to them." she continued when Cassey did not reply.
I heard that you are hiding from your highness. Then why did you come back?
"It was not my choice to come back." Cassey did not want to reply.
But she knew the woman was not going to leave her alone if she kept her silence.
