"How…" Lia's eyes widened. If her mind was playing tricks on her, she must have a great imagination to plan that trick. She could even feel the touch of her sister on her hands.
"I would have come in and prattled over a cup of tea, Lia. but we do not have such luxury. How about you jump first and I will explain everything to you later." Ana laughed but it was one of those laughter that had scared Lia when she was a child. It told her that her sister was hopping mad and she should not test One's patience.
But she was afraid of jumping. What if she fell down and died. But as she was hesitating the fire caught on to her bed and it burnt badly. The hardly wet blanket would not save her.
