"Hic.. hic.. Hiccup." The maid passed the glass of water to Grace looking at her with pity. Though she was relieved that Elene left without taking her complimentary gift, she did not know what she said to this woman. Since then she was staring at the door and hiccuping.
"Master will be pleased with you, you may get a reward. Do not be so worried about whatever your grace says." Grace flinched and then stared at the old woman with panicked eyes. "Do you have any idea what she said? She held her shoulders and jerked them. "I am going to die. She is going to kill me." She screamed hard with panic in her eyes when the old woman frowned.
"I do not think that is possible. Lady Elene is given the position of a duchess because she is concubine of his majesty. but she did not hold much power. She did not even have an estate." the woman assured but it only made hiccups again.
