Ana blinked as a faint memory of her drowning in the water flashed past her eyes. Someone was whispering behind her. He had told her that he would be free and come for revenge. And that her lover was selfish.

"How did I come back then?" her face went grim when Rowan sat up, afraid that he had asked the wrong question.
"Father went to search for you. He brought you back. He woke up at once but you still did not wake up. You were shivering and whispering it was cold and then fell asleep." she could see the fear in the eyes of the child and hugged him softly.
"Father was lost. He threatened the mages so many times with his sword but could not bear to kill him. Because he was afraid no one else would help him to bring you back. I.. i was scared too." he admitted softly when she nodded.
