"Rowan?" Ana called the child who looked lost. He flinched and finally met her eyes but his eyes looked dim, lost. He looked so lost that Ana sighed.
"Oh dear, I wish I could hug you." she whispered softly. Her eyes were watery and he felt strange. She must be acting, he reminded himself but he couldn't stop himself from looking into her eyes.
He took a step back silently and took out the key from his pocket while hiding the dagger in his pockets. She noticed it but did not think much about it.
She had no idea how much the child had suffered. Of course, he would have a dagger for his protection.
"But how do you have keys?" could it be possible that he could apparate anything he wanted in his dreams. She shook at her wild thoughts. If that was the case, he would not have been that helpless.
