As if the line was a signal. The maids attacked the assassin holding Cent. but he did not run to save the princess anymore. He stared at her, deep and hard as if they were sharing some personal message that Ana could not understand.
The girl closed her eyes, sucking in a deep breath but nodded when Cent gritted his teeth.
"I will not forgive you for this." he glared at Garry before running out of the palace confusing Ana who opened her mouth to call him but only a gasp left her lips when she saw the same woman going for the assassin holding Elowen.
But when the assassin took out the dagger to attack, another maid came forward and pulled Elowen. Not to save but tore her clothes.
The maid's uniform fell on the floor and ELowen closed her eyes. She was standing in the hall in her chemise in front of more than a dozen men including Garrison.
If Ana was shocked before, the scene left her struck dumb and mortified.
