"We are going back, you will wait here until I find a chance to send you back to the party without anyone noticing or there must be a way back toward your chambers. You can tell them you were resting because you were sick." he turned to knock on the attaching window though she was sure it was not needed.
The coachman must have heard their shouting. But before he could do so, she stood up abruptly and took out a dagger and placed it on his throat.
She stared deep into his eyes that were mocking her.
"Ah, so that is how a princess reacts when her wishes are ignored. How noble are you, different from the second prince, full of honor, righteousness and kindness." His lips twisted into something like a smile that scalded her.
His words wounded her more than she could ever wound him with the dagger in her hands. Yet she gripped it tightly, not giving him the chance to see her vulnerability.
