Elowen sat near Lucas as he cheered for the knights. Jousting was a recently popular game where knights wore strong and heavy armor as they climbed on their horses. Then they gallop on the horses with a lance on their hands.
They attack the opposite party with lance. Those who fell or got injured lost while the one staying last was the winner. It was a brutal game that shed a lot of blood and many knights got injured in this sport.
Yet, it was enjoyed by nobles who sat on their cozy seats and bet on the people. The one who will win only gets a small share of the betting and most of it is returned to nobles with interest.
Elowen only felt disgust as she looked at the blood soaked armors and falling knights while Lucas made sure to touch her here and there like holding her waist and forcing her to lean on him or holding her arms and rubbing them with his thumb.
