"You are back!" Ana whispered, closing her eyes, more than exhaustion, she felt guilty, "I did not think you would come to help me."
Emma bowed followed by Seri. tears escaped the young maid's eyes,
"Thank you for killing Luke and getting rid of Jane. you saved me life. It was only given that I will come to help you." Seri felt her knees giving away but Emma held the weak girl and helped her on the sofa, knowing well that Ana would not mind.
"Do you know who did this, your grace?" Ana nodded, though not sure, she had a hunch that it was not the emperor. Nathan was on their side and Lucas would not take her important enough to be against his father, that only left a person who hated her enough to do this.
