"I think it is because the girl is adopted by Luke, right butler?" Ana sneered with her face covered but it only looked like a smile when she tilted her head and started at Luke.
"You know who the culprit is?" Richard paused, frowning that the woman knew more than she should.
"Yes, it was easy, your majesty. Only three maids had entered my room. June, Sally and Emma. my maids were confined somewhere." she added with a chuckle but Richard could feel the woman was blaming them.
"Anyways, i have asked around and come to know that Emma is injured by June and is unconscious. So, I felt it was strange. But at the same time, I think she is the one. She must have beaten my other maid to hide her crime." Richard's eyes deepen.
He stared at Luke as if he was waiting for his response but the man just gritted his teeth.
"Your majesty, i can explain but i need.. Privacy for it." he hesitated for a second when Ana laughed again.
