"She is lying!" Emma gritted her teeth as she struggled to get rid of June's grip. But when she could not, she only glared at June.
"She is angry because she failed while I did not. I saw her lingering in the duchess ' room and told her to leave. I was only doing the duty assigned to me.
She told me that she was there to teach the duchess a lesson." Emma moved her gaze to other maids.
Though they all worked together. Not everyone knew that she and June were special.
Not because they were adopted by Luke. but they do the dirty work for Luke. Luke finally realized why Emma was silent so far.
"That is enough. It is going messy." he rubbed his forehead with a tired sigh.
"First of all, let's get you treated. Then we will discuss the matter." he shook his head, "you two, come here and help her."
