"You are back!" The nanny was surprised as she welcomed Ana into Rowan's chamber.
Her heart warmed that finally a human was resigning in the palace.
"Where is he?" Ana knew what the maid wanted to say but she ignored it and walked in.
"In his room, he is grumpy that he is not allowed to practice anymore." Ana sighed and entered the room.
Rowan was sitting on the sofa and staring out of the window. His lost eyes were full of grievance and pain. Her heart wept for the child.
"Rowan, would you like to have snacks with me?" She brought the biggest smile on her face and held his shoulders when the child sank on his seat.
Her hands stopped in midway before it could make a firm grip.
"Or you would like to hear a story. We can even play a game if you want." she offered as she sat beside him but he ignored her.
"I have told you that I need more practice. I am not strong enough." his grim eyes full of dark storm when she sighed.
