"Do we now?" he laughed with a mocking sarcasm when she gritted her teeth.
Her eyes on the maid that flinched and bowed their head lower.
She slowly took her gaze back at him.
"As long as you get rid of my brothers and help me in getting the throne, I will forget about all your sarcasm. Did you not say that you will not love that woman?
You went as far as creating rumors with me. I thought I would end up marrying you." her voice had a hint of jealousy but he only laughed.
"I never asked to create a rumor, your highness. I didn't even remember promising you anything. Your words could be ignored but if i agreed, i will be charged for treason. Please have mercy on me." her mouth twisting into a nefarious smile.
"I have information on the men hired to hurt your wife. Do you not want to keep that little bird safe? As long as you promise to spend tonight with me, i will give it to you." she beamed, sure that he would accept it.
