"That would not be needed." The harsh and abrupt reply of Rowan forced Ana to raise her head and look at the child in confusion.
Did he know something? No! She had made sure to hide her hatred from him.
"Rowan, you are sick. It would worry me if you go alone. The journey is long." Garry pressed with a dark face but Rowan shook his head.
"Then I will take more stuff with me." Garry's lips pressed tightly as he looked at the boy with a displeased look.
The hidden warning did not go unnoticed by Rowan but he looked away. He was ready to beat the punishment but he would protect the woman who showed warmth to him.
"Rowan, your father is right." She smiled at him as if she was trying to assure him that it did not matter, "you are sick. It would be troublesome to do such a long journey alone. It will be better that I come with you."
