Garry stared at her in disbelief while his hands instinctively moved to cover his red cheek. The force was not enough to hurt him but the impact was.
This was the first time he was slapped in his life. To think that she would be one to do it was so surreal that he could not believe it even when he had already experienced it.
She looked at him with a haughty gaze.
"Do you still want to know what I can do or are you letting me go?" she asked in a challenging tone as she took out her pin and held her between his fingers.
He blinked again. He stared at the pin in her hands and then at her cold eyes. It took him a second and then he laughed.
He laughed hard as if he had gone crazy by that slap. She gritted her teeth when she noticed amusement in his eyes.
He was crazy! A lost case at that.
