"She is nothing but lucky, I can act better than her to win the favor of the lady." said another maid as she looked at the closed door with jealousy.
"Recently every maid wanted to serve the lady. They stood in front of the head maid and pleaded with her to transfer them into the chamber of the duchess. But she was annoyed. I heard that she even fired a maid who praised the lady too much." Seri paused and looked at the maid with sparkling eyes.
The maid flinched, finally realizing that she was speaking too loud.
