"But.. I will look at what I can do and talk to his majesty about it." he felt a strange tightening of his chest when he said that but he was a man of honor. He would not force a woman to marry him when the woman looked away and then shook her head.
"That would not be needed. I will take my words back. And request you to give me another wish." she requested when his eyes narrowed, but under so many confused gazes, he did not want to stretch it in an argument, so he nodded readily, promising himself that he would not leave without clearing the matter.
"Then I will ask when the right time comes. I am feeling tired, can I leave, my lord?" she bowed her head when he could only sigh. He knew that even if he would try to stop her, she was not going to listen to him.
He stood there confused as the girl left again with a poignant pain on her face as if she was suffering. But he failed to understand what made her suffer so much when he was sure that he had never hurt her.
