The man looked at Garry with a grim face, ready to burn him to the crisp when Garry took out a gold coin from his pocket and threw it to the man.
The eyes of the man widened as he caught the coin in mid air and stared hard at it and then at Grey.
"Come with me." he spoke curtly and his eyes went cold.
A flicker of emotions passed through Garry's eyes and it was gone before anyone could recognize it. They passed through a veil. A second before there was nothing but now.. A large old house stood in front of her. She gaped at it as they walked closer but then she noticed other minute details and worry started to fill her face.
She wetted her lips with her tongue as Garry wrapped his arm around her waist. As if the beast would prowl on her from the darkness and devour her.
"What happened here?" Ana murmured as she noticed the marks on the doors, the bad condition of the shrubs and the dimly flickering light.
