Elowen tore her dress and made long stripes from it as if she could not see anyone else there. She did not care if her legs were shown. She used them as bandages for Cent who sighed. Silence filled the cliff as they all stared at Elowen with a strange look except Cent. he had closed his eyes. He was still trying to believe that everything was over and El was safe with him.
"You knew about all this." El's eyes narrowed but Ana only smiled and looked at the broken carriage. But her smile was cold and calculating.
