Her face must have been a warning when he sighed and bent to pick up the fallen woman, "but we will discuss it in our home. This place is dangerous." she nodded as he placed the girl on his shoulder as if she was nothing but a sack of potatoes.
They did not take Black but walked slowly. As if the horse got their intention when Garry tapped his mane. He ran to the other side and neighed loudly. The knights who had come out after searching the small house heard it and followed it like fools.
Since they all went in the opposite direction and Ana and Garry had already changed lanes by then, they were safe again.
