"Your majesty." Scarlet curtsied formally as Richard nodded and offered her a seat.
"How is my grandson?" Scarlet drew her best flattering smile as she described how she had tormented Rowan.
"But I do not understand one thing, your majesty."
How he had a weak stature rather than a strong one like other members of the Sopheriene family.
But when she felt Richard's eyes narrowing with displeasure, she kept her silence. "Why are we keeping him alive? Surely you do not need that wish anymore. The goddess had already given her blessings to you."
Richard laughed. His eyes slowly relax, relieving Scarlet.
"We still need more wishes, Scarlet. And I am sure Garrison would return one day if you torment the child enough. Definitely you are not doing a good job to provoke your son." he teased when her face went red.
