"What about you?" Nadia frowned, "it would be better if we go to the next town together. You can split your way from there." Mary's eyes softened. She looked at the girl with a tender look.
"I apologize, Nadia. But I have to return. I have some unfinished business in the palace. And I can not bring you with me." Nadia opened her mouth but closed it and nodded.
"I owe you this help. I will return the favor if I ever get a chance." Nadia bowed her head and left when Mary sighed.
She waited there for a few minutes before the knight who had blocked her way before returned.
"You were not supposed to help a prisoner escape." he frowned. He was there to collect Mary but stopped when he saw Nadia with her.
"She belongs to the duchess. We will be praised for it." The knight shook his head and started walking again, Mary followed her.
