When Ana walked out of the room, James was waiting for her at the corner, leaning on the wall like a ruffian. But as soon as she looked at him, he jumped on his feet and bowed his head.
"Your grace. I am here to escort you to the parlor." she nodded as her gaze scanned the hall. He was not there. Of course he was not there. He was not a servant that would wait for her.
