"You have already told me many times that you died because of me." he shrugged as if it was not a big deal. As if men die and come back to life everyday like people sleep and wake up again.
Her eyes flickered but before she could ask him what he meant. His hands moved the locks falling on her face and touched her cheeks.
"You forgot, i.." he paused when the carriage slowed down. Soon the adjoining window knocked.
"Your grace, the lord's carriage has stopped here." Ana frowned as they had decided to stop at Bertram land and it would take at least one more hour to reach there.
"Stay here!" he whispered as he kissed her forehead making her frown go deeper but the door was already closed showing his departure.
Ana moved toward the window to see a few men had blocked the way and asking questions to Vincent.
